Offered by the UC Open Source Program Office (UC OSPO) in partnership with The Carpentries, this beta pilot workshop helps you strengthen your research software practices. You’ll learn practical skills for making your code more reliable, reusable and sustainable, including the following:
• Organizing and testing your code
• Managing environments and dependencies
• Writing effective documentation
• Understanding licensing choices
• Building and engaging a user community

This workshop is designed for researchers, graduate students and early-career Research Software Engineers (RSEs) who already have some experience with Python, Git and the shell.
