Kukan (1941) is a documentary film about the Chinese resistance to Japanese aggression in early World War 2. The film won an Honorary Academy Award. Considered lost for many years, an extant print was located and is in the process of being restored at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Additional documentary footage of Chongqing Bombing will also be screened. Refreshments served.
