The Campus Library Instructional Computing Commons (CLICC) is proud to continue education technology support for the entire UCLA community and excited to help UCLA students, staff, and faculty in our spaces as we finish the 2021–2022 Academic Year.

Change to CLICC Device Lending Policy Begins Summer 2022

Summer Sessions lending will begin June 20, 2022 and all CLICC devices (Chromebooks, Macs, iPads and Windows laptops) will have the same loan policy (1 week with 1 optional renewal)

Starting Monday, June 20, 2022, CLICC will begin lending for Summer Sessions. Beginning on that date, all CLICC Chromebooks, Mac and Windows laptops, and iPads will be issued on 1-week loans with 1 renewal. A patron renewing a device just before the 1-week due date will be able to keep the device for up to an additional week.

Loans will be made via walk-up circulation only, and the majority of the devices will be available at the Powell Lending location on the first floor of Powell Library. Other Library locations such as the Biomedical Library, SEL–Boelter, SEL–Geology, Music Library, and YRL will also have CLICC devices available for walk-up loans. A lending locker in Powell Library will have Chromebooks available for loan and will still lend devices outside of CLICC lending location hours. For CLICC and Library hours, please visit https://www.library.ucla.edu/locations

Instructors and teaching assistants who need long-term devices for instruction should contact their departments. For courses in which students are assigned projects requiring technology, instructors should contact CLICC to discuss available options.
