Our generous donors make it possible for UCLA students, faculty, and researchers to access the Library’s world-class collections, innovative spaces, and essential instruction services. With your contributions, the UCLA Library maintains a collection of over twelve million print and electronic volumes, provides countless hours of writing and research training, employs hundreds of student workers, and much more.
In October of 2019, the UCLA Film & Television Archive joined the UCLA Library, aligning the second-largest repository of motion picture and broadcast programming in the U.S. with the Library’s collections and expertise.
Since mid-March 2020, the UCLA Library has:
- Made available millions of digitized volumes from our collections
- Acquired more than 100,000 new digital materials
- Answered over 12,000 reference questions
- Fulfilled nearly 1,500 digitization requests
- Hosted 700-plus virtual workshops, online tutorials, and integrated instruction sessions for close to 20,000 attendees
