About
Established in 1987, the SRLF provides space for University of California library materials, archives and manuscript collections.
Utilizing high-density shelving, the library stores collections in a climate-controlled environment that is designed to preserve them over time. While the stacks are not open to the public, onsite staff can assist visitors in retrieving requested materials at the Circulation Desk from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
The onsite services of SRLF include a reading room, photocopy machines, wēpa printing, a BruinCard PHIL machine and microfilm/microform scanning services. Our beautiful courtyard also serves as a nice place to relax and study.
