About
Established in 1987, the SLF-S, formerly known as the Southern Regional Library Facility (SRLF), provides space for University of California library materials, archives and manuscript collections.
Using high-density shelving, the library stores collections in a climate-controlled environment designed to preserve them over time. While the stacks are not open to the public, onsite staff can assist visitors in retrieving requested materials at the Circulation Desk from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
The onsite services of SLF-S include a reading room, photocopy machines, wēpa printing, a BruinCard PHIL machine and microfilm/microform scanning services. Our beautiful courtyard also serves as a nice place to relax and study.
