Biography

In collaboration with his colleagues in the Scholarly Communication unit and colleagues across the library, Marty consults with faculty about copyright issues, and is involved in a variety of Scholarly Communications issues and initiatives, within and beyond the library.  He has also been active in copyright education and outreach through committees of ALA and ACRL. Prior to UCLA, Marty was the Librarian for Medical Education and Curriculum Development at the NYU School of Medicine in New York City, and has worked in similar health sciences educational positions at the Miner Library at the University of Rochester Medical Center and the Library of the Health Sciences at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
