Sheet Music Consortium

The Sheet Music Consortium was a collaborative initiative that began in 2003 with the goal of using a new library technology to create a single search tool for finding digitized sheet music collections from many different institutions. The UCLA Library was one of the initial collaborators on that project and hosted the search website, as well as managed the harvesting service that gathered metadata about digitized sheet music from the contributing institutions. In 2026, UCLA Library discontinued the Sheet Music Consortium service due to resource constraints. As a result, the centralized search platform and metadata aggregation service are no longer available. We have prepared this list of direct links to the sheet music collections of partner institutions.
