More than two hundred current and former librarians and staff from the Louise M. Darling Biomedical Library are pursuing or have retired from successful careers throughout North America and Great Britain, forming a remarkable group that has made significant contributions to their profession. To mark the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Biomedical Library, many of these generous individuals joined together to establish the Biomed Alumni and Staff Reference Collection Endowment Fund. Income from this fund is used for acquisition, preservation and access to reference resources in all formats including print, digital and multimedia in the biomedical sciences.
