Set up an appointment
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we will be providing consulting appointments via Zoom remotely. All users of UCLA Library Data Science Center (DSC) must abide by the DSC Code of Conduct.
The Data Science Center at UCLA Library provides short-term, free consulting
on topics including but not limited to:
- research design,
- acquiring data,
- data cleaning
- data science,
- data management, publishing, and sharing,
- data analysis,
- coding and programming,
- geospatial analysis,
- working with 3D data, and
- data visualization.
A primary goal of the Data Science Center consulting service is to guide researchers in learning to apply methods and tools to accomplish their goals, and the DSC can provide researchers up to 5 consultations per quarter. The Data Science Center consulting service does not provide tutoring or homework help. Prior to consultation meetings, researchers should be prepared to provide background on their research, code, and data (full or subset of dataset). Set up an appointment by topic.
