Biography
Joshua serves as the Associate University Librarian for Digital Strategies and Collections Services. In that role he oversees all information technology for the Library and manages the units responsible for the assessment, acquisition, and description of Library's general collections. With 30 years of experience at the intersection of libraries and technology, Joshua's interests lie in digital libraries, data modeling, data analysis, and workflow automation. He aims to apply computational methods to library operations and enable the library to make data-informed decisions.
Joshua earned a BA in English from USC, a Masters of Information Management and Systems from UC Berkeley, and a Masters of Computer Science from ASU. He was a Lecturer in the Department of Information and Library studies at UCLA, and is currently an Adjunct Professor of Library and Information Science at USC.
