Biography
Blair Black, Ph.D., is the music teaching & research services librarian. She supports teaching, learning and research across music studies at UCLA, including course-integrated instruction, research consultations and the development of collections that support faculty and student work. Her doctoral training from the Herb Alpert School of Music’s ethnomusicology program focused on electronic dance music cultures in queer and communities of color, and media community-based archives.
