We can help!
The most efficient way to make a document delivery request is by using the "Request an Item" feature in the UCLA Library Catalog. Requests will usually be processed within two business days of receipt. This does not include delivery time.
Registered UCLA faculty, students, and staff can also submit document delivery requests through Request, available through the Melvyl Catalog and selected article databases. To make a document delivery request for UCLA materials when using Request, select the appropriate UCLA Document Delivery Service Center from the Campus Document Delivery Service options menu.
Users can also submit requests through the UC-eLinks Citation Linker blank form. For a slightly higher fee, requests can also be submitted on paper request forms or by email. Requests submitted by means other than the UCLA Library Catalog, Request, or the Citation Linker may take longer to fill.
For more detailed instructions, download Document Delivery Service for UCLA Users (Adobe PDF document).
While every attempt is made to fill all orders, it is not possible to guarantee that all requests will be filled, because materials may be in use or missing.
All requests must comply with current United States copyright law.
