An access-only card is required for the use of many UCLA Library facilities and services. This card is issued free of charge to individuals over the age of eighteen with current, government-issued photo identification. It does not entitle the bearer to borrowing privileges.
Access to some resources may be limited. For example, access-only cardholders cannot use Powell Library reserves.
Access-only cards can be obtained at the circulation desks in most campus libraries.
Library Cards and Access to Online Materials
Please note that Library cards are used to access UCLA's print collections. They do not provide access to UCLA's online subscription materials.
