UC Library Search

Finding and borrowing resources from libraries across the UC system is now easier... UC Library Search is here!
Libraries on all 10 University of California campuses are now connected through UC Library Search, a unified discovery and borrowing system. UC Library Search features the following enhancements:
-
Search UCLA's local library collection as well as the collections from all 10 UC libraries, two regional library facilities and the California Digital Library on the same platform;
-
Locate the full text of millions of print and online books, journal articles, and other content;
-
Borrow and renew materials from any library in the UC system using single sign-on and without retyping your library card number
The enhanced features of UC Library Search replace Melvyl as the UC-wide library catalog search tool and the UCLA Library Catalog as our local search tool. It also replaces our former article discovery tool, ArticlesPlus. As a single, unified system, UC Library Search offers powerful tools to help the UCLA Library and its peer institutions make data-informed decisions around collection development and new services for users.
