eScholarship is the institutional respository for the entire University of California system. Faculty, researchers and students can post individual academic works, such as monographs, white papers, and journal articles. When necessary, this can allow authors to comply with the UC Open Access policy, fulfill grant-mandated open access requirements, or meet public policy mandates.
A series of papers/publications can also be hosted by departments and units. Similarly, the output from a symposium or conference at UCLA can be posted.
eScholarship is also a robust platform for publishing electronic journals. Dozens of UCLA department-sponsored journals already do so.
