New Research and Digital Technologies Workshops for Spring Quarter

Dear Bruins,

UCLA Library presents a new series of research and digital technologies workshops fully adapted for spring quarter remote learning. Explore learning opportunities through virtual workshops designed to help you succeed with your papers, projects, and other scholarly endeavors.

Our Spring Workshop Series is presented in collaboration with the Office of Advanced Research Computing (OARC). Some workshops showcase Library content, while others introduce tools, methods, and workflows in order to demonstrate ways to design research projects or processes from collecting (or finding) data, through analysis, and, ideally, sharing or publication. Our shared goal is to build a community of practice around digital research expertise, tools/methods, and collections/content.

For students and others interested in foundational research skills, please explore the remote Cornerstone Research Workshops. From developing a research question to presenting your work, these workshops will help you with every stage of the research process.

For your convenience, a selection of remote workshops is listed at the end of this message.

Wishing you continued success in the spring quarter and beyond. As always, please stay safe and take care.

Sincerely,

Virginia Steel
Norman and Armena Powell University Librarian
