Build Your Research Expertise - Signup for Online Summer Workshops
Dear Bruins:
The UCLA Library is pleased to offer a series of summer session virtual research and digital technologies workshops, designed to support all levels of research and scholarly endeavors.
I invite you to explore new learning opportunities around digital technologies through our collaboration with the Office of Advanced Research Computing (OARC). Some workshops showcase library content, while others introduce tools, methods, and workflows demonstrating ways to design research projects or processes from collecting (or finding) data, through analysis, and sharing or publication. Our goal is to build a community of practice around digital research expertise, tools/methods, and collections/content.
If you are interested in foundational workshops, please explore the remote Cornerstone Research Workshops. From developing a research question and crafting a research plan to presenting your work, these workshops will help you navigate every stage of the research process.
For your convenience, a selection of remote workshops is listed at the end of this message.
I look forward to welcoming new and returning Bruins to all libraries this fall. Until then, I encourage you to take full advantage of UCLA Library’s remote services and to reach out should you need assistance. Wishing you continued success and a safe and happy summer.
Sincerely,
Virginia Steel
Norman and Armena Powell University Librarian
