Directions and Parking


The Ahmanson-Murphy Reading Room is located in the Charles E. Young Research Library (YRL) in North Campus:

Library Special Collections is on the A-Level of YRL. You can access our location by entering the lobby of YRL and taking the staircase in the center of the room down one level. There are also elevators adjacent to the staircase. The door to Special Collections is at the foot of the stairs; the reference desk and reading room are at the far corner of the Special Collections lobby.

Parking Structures 3 and 5 are closest to the library and include disabled placard spaces. Both parking structures feature self-service pay stations. Pay-by-space parking is accessed through the east entrance of Structure 3, and on Level 6 of Parking Structure 5. Parking fees apply at all times.
