What are the hours of operation for each library location during the fall quarter?

The Arts Library, located in the Luskin School of Public Affairs building, is undergoing seismic upgrades and as a result, is closed to patrons through the end of 2022. Collections will be available to all UCLA Library card and BruidCard holders via Page and Pickup by request through UC Library Search. Arts Course Reserves materials will be housed in Powell Library. Who is able to visit a library? Are libraries open to the public?
As of March 28, 2022, the Library is open to BruinCard holders, alumni and the general public.
What is required for admittance into the libraries?
Are events allowed now that libraries have resumed onsite services?
UCLA Library prioritizes use of conference rooms and other spaces for Library events and activities, including the delivery of teaching, learning and research services. Events programmed by UCLA Library affiliates who are using Library services and/or materials in their programs may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Non-affiliates may attend events that are open to the public, but the Library does not have the capacity to host non-affiliate events.
Are the Arts Library collections and services available during the temporary seismic construction closure?
The Arts Library, located in the Luskin School of Public Affairs building, is undergoing seismic upgrades and as a result, is closed to patrons. We are aiming to physically open to patrons by the end of 2022 and will provide updates as we have more information. Collections will be available to UCLA patrons via Page and Pickup.
