Saturday, Nov 7, 2015 - 7:30pm to 9:30pm

A concert in memory of Philip Brett

Please join the UCLA Early Music Ensemble, under the direction of Elisabeth Le Guin and Emma Stansfield, for a free concert of music for voices and strings by two great geniuses of English music, William Byrd and Henry Purcell.

Professor Philip Brett, in whose beloved memory the event is presented, was the Editor-in-Chief of Byrd's Collected works, recorded many choral and orchestral works of Purcell, and taught briefly in the Musicology Department at UCLA.
