Building Dynamic Websites with WordPress (workshop series part 2: An Introduction to Building and Publishing Websites) - 5/12/22

This workshop will be an introduction to the WordPress Content Management System. It will cover how to navigate the backend dashboard, how to use the WordPress block editor to build a site, and how to import and modify theme demo content to create a WordPress site.

This workshop is part of a series. Attend one or all of the sessions. No prior experience is required.

*If you would like to follow along with the workshop, it is recommended (but not required) that you have a WordPress site with which to experiment. Options for obtaining webspace will be discussed in part 1 of the workshop series (on 4/21/22). Students and faculty in the humanities can acquire a free domain and server space through HumSpace on which they can install WordPress. HumSpace sites will remain active for your tenure at UCLA.
