In this workshop, participants will reflect on their social identities in relation to the research process (including teaching others how to conduct research), explore how the construction of authority in scholarship is influenced by our social identities and share discussion on strategies to remain aware of bias (and celebrate unique perspectives) in the research process. Open to all disciplines and levels of experience with research and pedagogy.

This workshop features special guest speaker Chris Lopez, Student Success Librarian from the Borough of Manhattan Community College.

This workshop will be offered via Zoom. If you're registered, you'll receive the Zoom invitation information the day before the workshop.
