75 Years, 75 Pieces - UCLA Music Library, 1942-2017

Monday, October 30, 2017 - 3:45pm to Sunday, October 28, 2018 - 10:00am

"75 Years, 75 Pieces" celebrates the seventy-fifth anniversary of the Music Library. From humble beginnings in 1942 with a collection of scores from the recently decommissioned Federal Music Project, the library has grown into one of the largest academic music libraries in the U.S. This non-linear, non-narrative exhibit features materials from the Music Library, Ethnomusicology Archive, and UCLA Library Special Collections to highlight the support offered for music scholarship and performance during the past seventy-five years at UCLA.

The exhibit is located to the left of the Music Library door, in the hall between the library and Popper Theater.
