“Bread and Salt” Jewish Cooking Contest
Celebrate Jewish cooking around the world! Come by to taste the entries and vote on audience favorite. Winners receive a professional cooking lesson, and all entrants receive an apron.
Awards will be given in the "Bread and Salt" exhibit categories of California/United States, historical, international-European, international non-European, Middle Eastern, and vegan/vegetarian as well as most healthy and audience favorite.
Contest judges include:
- Faye Levy, culinary columnist, cooking teacher, and cookbook author
- Judy Zeidler, food authority and cookbook author
- Lori Keir, UCLA Alan D. Leve Center for Jewish Studies Community Advisory Board member
- Darion Ouliguian, UCLA Alan D. Leve Center Student Leadership Council president
All are welcome to attend; no advance reservations are necessary.
