The East Asian Library presents a talk by artist Bo Hong and commentary by Professor Richard Strassberg (UCLA Department of Asian Languages and Cultures). Light dim sum refreshments were served.
About the Artist
"Hong Bo, aka Chu Hai Tang Zhu, born in China, is the founder and director of the Chinese Painting Institute (USA), a member of China Artists Association, and serves as a guest professor at the University of California, Hainan University and Shanghai Film Art Academy.
Hong Bo’s depiction of California landscape in Chinese painting style has drawn wide attention and recognition among artists both in China and the United States. Viewers can feel fresh and vivid spirit from his painting works."
