The program is held on the beautiful UCLA campus. Fellows can participate in a wide variety of cultural and entertainment opportunities in the Los Angeles area, including world-class dining, theater, beaches, mountains, and recreational activities.
Fellows are housed in one of the residential plazas on campus, in single-occupancy rooms with private baths and air conditioning. Weekly maid service, telephones, and Internet access are provided. Please note that while the guest rooms are private, secure, and in newer residential buildings, they are in student housing and so not of a full hotel standard (e.g., all beds are twin extra-long; there are no televisions in the rooms; hair dryers and irons are not supplied).
The residential plazas are just under one mile from the Charles E. Young Research Library, where all classes are held. The UCLA residential facilities contain units accessible to people with disabilities, and the Research Library is also ADA compliant. Please note that UCLA is a completely tobacco-free campus.
