The UCLA Library collections contain more than:
- 12 million volumes
- 100,000 current serial titles
- 950,000 e-books
- 700 subscription databases
plus countless maps, microfilm reels, archived web sites, record albums, CDs and DVDs, scrolls, photographs, government documents, statisttical data sets, clay tablets, posters, and other types of content.
The Library’s annual collections budget is more than $10 million, used to support the acquisition of print and digital material.
Access to materials beyond UCLA is provided by the Library's participation in the international interlibrary loan community, the California Digital Library, Center for Research Libraries, Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research, and other library organizations.
