The Charles E. Young Research Library (YRL) has extensive collections of books, journals, and other materials to support the research and graduate instruction of the UCLA Geography Department. Coverage includes urban and regional development studies, spatial demography and social processes in the city, and culture and environment world-wide. The Biomedical and Science and Engineering Libraries collect additional materials in physical geography, climatology and biogeography. The Reference and Instructional Services Department of YRL collects and provides access to government information and cartographic resources.
To locate materials in all UCLA libraries, search the UCLA Library Catalog. Suggestions from UCLA students, staff and faculty for additions to the Geography collections are welcomed.
