You may request delivery of Southern Regional Library Facility (SRLF) materials to any of the UCLA Library collections from within an ORION2 record. After finding the item, click on the line that says "Click for more information or to request an item from SRLF or ORION Express." Find the specific volume in the list of holdings and click on the button labeled "SRLF Request" in the "Request Options" column. (Note: Ask library staff for assistance with materials designated as non-circulating and with materials designated as "LONG" records). A window with a request form will appear with information about you and the item already filled in. Fill in any blank fields in the "Requester Information" area. Then select the desired campus library for a delivery destination. (Note: YRL (Young Research Library) is the default delivery destination.) Additional information may be supplied in the "notes" field. Click on the Submit button to transmit the SRLF request.
Staff at the reference and circulation desks in any campus library can also place SRLF requests for users.
Materials requested before 11 a.m. Monday through Friday will be available for pick-up at the campus library selected after 5 p.m. on the same day. Materials requested after 11 a.m. on weekdays or anytime on weekends may be picked up after 5 p.m. the next business day.
