Policy Regarding Unsupervised Copying

Notices of copyright regulations on reprographic machines

The following notice is to be displayed on unsupervised copying machines in all UCLA Library units (Title 17, Sect. 108f):

NOTICE: The U.S. Copyright Law (Title 17 U.S. Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material. The person using this equipment is liable for any infringement.

Notices of copyright regulations in areas where CD-ROM, audiovisual, and computer equipment is available for public use

The following notice is to be displayed on unsupervised audiovisual and microcomputer workstations in all UCLA Library units:

NOTICE: The U.S. Copyright Law (Title 17, U.S. Code) and university licensing agreements govern the making of copies and use of computer software, proprietary databases, and digital resources of all types. The person using this equipment is liable for any infringement.
