When can I visit and will I need an appointment?

You do not need an appointment to use the collections.

It is a good idea to submit your request to view materials at least three business days in advance of your visit because many of our materials are stored in an off-site facility.

Our normal business hours are Monday through Friday, 10 am to 5 pm, with some exceptions for UCLA intersession periods and holidays. To check our current hours, please call 310.825.4988 or visit the Library’s schedule of hours.
