Library Special Collections encourages all readers to visit the repository in person but this may not always be possible. For readers who are at a distance, our staff can provide up to 30 minutes of research on their behalf. All queries are answered in the order in which they were received, and response may take up to three weeks.
Researchers for Hire
For requests that require more than 30 minutes of research, we suggest that readers explore other options. Library Special Collections maintains a list of persons available to undertake research projects on behalf of private parties. This list is available upon request. These individuals should be contacted directly. Any arrangement with them is a private transaction in which the UCLA Library assumes no responsibility for the quality of work performed or the fees charged.
