- UC eScholarship: Provides free, persistent access to journals, peer-reviewed series, postprints, and seminar/symposia proceedings
- Directory of Open-access Journals: Lists more than eight thousand peer-reviewed scholarly and scientific journals whose content is available online at no charge; some charge a publication fee to the author
- Directory of Open-access Books beta: searchable index linked to full text of more than 1,200 peer-reviewed books published under open-access licenses
