Soil Imaging – AMR design and testing

Description or Abstract of the Project: 

This project draws from and provides access to the AMARSS datasets collected at the James Reserve NRS and the La Selva Biological Station. This project was conducted to study and test newly developed imagery technology (automated minirhizotron). During the course of this project, 10 AMR production units were completely deployed. Data collection and storage servers were also transferred from the James Reserve to the UCR Computing Center. Additionally, transfer of CENS-related infrastructure to James Reserve staff was completed. RootView2 software was also completed; also, RootView3 specifications were completed. The above information is from CENS report TEOS 01.
