The Cambridge History of English and American Literature
The complete, unabridged 18-vol. work published 1907-21 with topics that range from poetry, fiction, drama and essays to history, theology and political writing. Covers a broad range of writing on humorists, publicists, orators, newspaper columnists, religious leaders, economists, Native Americans, song writers, and even some non-English writers.
