Luxe Hotel Sunset Boulevard

(Please note: there is another Luxe Hotel in nearby Beverly Hills, on Rodeo Drive, not affiliated with the RBMS Preconference.)

The Luxe Hotel Sunset Boulevard at 11461 Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles, California is the official RBMS Preconference headquarters hotel. This hotel offers a stylish California-modern look. Located just below the Getty Center, the Luxe Hotel Sunset Boulevard is close to UCLA, Brentwood, and Beverly Hills.

• Superior Rooms (single or double): $179.00
• Jr. Executive Suites (single only): $229

All rooms feature flat screen TVs, complimentary wireless Internet, iPod docking stations, writing desks and chairs, hair dryers, coffee makers with complimentary coffee and tea; electronic safe, fully stocked mini-bar, and plush terrycloth robes. Jr. Executive Suites are larger and also feature an additional sitting area and an oversized bathroom with Roman bathtub and separate shower area.

Hotel Angeleno

The Hotel Angeleno at 170 N. Church Lane in Los Angeles, California is offering accommodations for the RBMS Preconference. Conveniently located just across the street from the Luxe Hotel, this stylish boutique hotel offers all the latest amenities. The Hotel Angeleno also offers complimentary shuttle service within a 3-mile radius of the hotel.

Hotel Angeleno Discounted Group Rate

All rooms feature pillow-top mattresses, 300 thread-count Italian cotton linens, fluffy feather duvets, complimentary wireless high-speed Internet access, two-line phone with voicemail, CD players, ergonomic chairs and work stations, honor bars, 30" plasma flat-screen TVs, complimentary HBO, pay-per-view movies, refreshing aroma therapeutic bath products, hairdryers, and coffeemakers.

Hotel Angeleno Parking

UCLA Residence Hall, DeNeve Plaza

Please use the dorm room reservation form to secure a sleeping room and parking permit (if applicable) on the UCLA campus. DeNeve Plaza rooms feature single or double occupancy rooms (two twin beds in each) with private baths. All rooms are air-conditioned, non-smoking, and equipped with alarm clocks, cable television, daily maid service, telephones, bathroom amenities, and Internet access. Guest information is also provided in each room. The front desk of DeNeve Plaza is open 24 hours a day. The room rate includes breakfast each day from 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. and complimentary access to recreation facilities on campus.

Participants staying on the UCLA campus are responsible for their own transportation to and from the Luxe Hotel and the Getty Center for preconference activities.

The Metro Rapid bus #761 stops at the NE corner of Sunset Blvd. and Bellaggio Road, a short walk from the dorms at DeNeve Commons. The bus ride to the Luxe Hotel takes 5 minutes and costs $1.25. On Thursday, when conference events take place at the Getty Center, attendees may ride the 761 to the hotel, and from there pick up the Getty shuttle; otherwise, they can continue on the 761 bus to the next stop, directly in front of the Getty Center on Sepulveda Blvd. The 233 bus takes over for the Rapid 761 after about 7:45 p.m., but only runs once an hour thereafter. To return to the dorms after 7:30 p.m., attendees may wish to consider taking a cab directly to the dorm.
