Orientations can be set up for academic departments and special programs or student groups. Tours
of the Chemistry, Engineering & Mathematical Sciences, and Geology-Geophysics Collections can be arranged by appointment.
Please contact an SEL
Librarian subject specialist to discuss or contact Marion Peters, Head, SEL Public Services, for general information on arranging library classes, orientations and tours.
TEACHING FACILITIES
The SEL Learning Center, located within the SEL/EMS Collection, is equipped with twelve computer workstations for individual use. Tables and chairs can be quickly reconfigured in this room to accommodate a variety of scenarios, including lectures and group collaboration. A large-screen
projector and an audio system are built in.
Group study rooms and the SEL Conference Room may also used for instruction for smaller groups. Wireless access is available in all library spaces, including the SEL Learning Center, Conference Room, and group study rooms.
