UCLA Alumni - Library Privileges

To borrow books from UCLA libraries after graduation, UCLA Alumni have several options--

  • You can join the UCLA Alumni Association and receive a library card as part of your membership package (you may borrow up to 5 books at a time).
  • You can join the Library Associates and receive a library card as part of your membership package (you may borrow up to 5 books at a time).
  • You can visit your nearest public library and thru their interlibrary loan service, request books needed.  Some may be requested from UCLA on your behalf.  Public libraries may charge a fee for this service.
  • You may purchase a library card that allows you to borrow up to 5 books at a time, or more than 5 books at a time with an increase in fees.
