Collection Development
Gifts and Donations
The Science & Engineering Library is happy to accept gifts and donations that enhance our collection. We are particularly interested in relatively recent books, classic texts, and several consecutive years of journals that support research and instruction in the departments we serve. We are always delighted to receive individual journal issues that fill in gaps in our journal collections. Because space considerations and processing costs, we rarely accept books or journals that we already own.

SEL Subjects Supported
SEL serves students, faculty, and staff in the Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science, the Departments of the Physical Sciences Division in the College of Letters and Science, and related centers/groups/institutes. SEL librarians have subject assignments and related departmental liaison responsibilities as listed below. Please contact your SEL librarian for questions about library resources and services, to schedule instructional sessions for your classes, or suggest materials to purchase. We want to hear from you!
