In Person
Library staff are available scheduled hours to assist readers in using the Music Library and to provide in-person reference service. Library staff are on-call during other open hours Monday through Friday. For individual help with a music research topic please fill out the form below to request a research consultation appointment.

Music reference is available to the UCLA community via email: music-ref at library.ucla.edu, and over the telephone (11AM-4PM, Monday through Friday): (310) 825-4882. The UCLA Library Catalog is available to anyone over the internet.
Class Instruction and Library Orientation
Instruction to classes on music research, music information literacy, finding music in the UCLA Library Catalog, Melvyl, and on the tnternet is offered to UCLA Faculty, Students, and Staff and may be arranged through the Music Librarian for Public Services .
