The Music Library serves as the center for music research, study, and enjoyment at UCLA. It serves the departments of the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music and any other department with a music component. Special collections and archives related to popular American music, film music, jazz, and classical music are housed in the Performing Arts Special Collections. The Ethnomusicology Archive collects recordings and video of world music.
