Browse Books by Subject using Call Numbers
Books in most* UCLA libraries are arranged by subject area according to the Library of Congress (LC) classification system call numbers. Because of the way the books are arranged, it is difficult to browse books unless you know the call number area of your subject. Below is on overview of the classification system with each subject area linking to a list of further subdivisions:
