Ethnic Newswatch
Coverage varies. Ethnic NewsWatch is a full-text collection of the newspapers, magazines and journals of the ethnic, minority and native press. A rich collection of articles, editorials, columns, reviews, etc. provide a broad diversity of perspectives and viewpoints -- the other sides of the stories.
 
Alt-Press Watch
Covers 1995-present. Alt-Press Watch provides a collection of newpapers, magazines, and journals of the alternative and independent press. Searching can be done in English and Spanish.
 
America: History and Life
Covers 1964-present. Citations to articles on American and Canadian history.
 
Sociological Abstracts via Cambridge Scientific Abstracts
Covers 1974-present. Contains citations for articles from over 2,600 journals, books, conference papers, and dissertations in the sociology and related disciplines in the social and behavioral sciences. Journal articles after 1974 contain abstracts.

UCLA Center for African American Studies
Created as an Organized Research Unit (ORU) in 1969, UCLA's Center for Afro-American Studies's mission is to develop strong academic and research programs that create and disseminate new knowledge about people of African descent throughout the Diaspora.
UCLA American Indian Studies Center
The American Indian Studies Center(AISC) was founded in 1969. The Center serves the educational and cultural needs of the American Indian students at UCLA and the Los Angeles American Indian communities. 
UCLA Asian American Studies Center
Since its founding in 1969, the UCLA Asian American Studies Center has attempted to document, analyze, and forecast the contemporary, historical, and future experiences and concerns of people of Asian and Pacific Islander heritage in the United States through an array of scholarly, policy-oriented, applied, and creative forms of inquiry.
UCLA Chicano Studies Research Center
During the last thirty years, the UCLA Chicano Studies Research Center (CSRC) has promoted the study of Mexican Americans and others of Latino descent in the United States.
