| The Rounce and Coffin Club 1998 Western Books
Exhibition July 6 - August 13, 1999 |

| This marks their 57th exhibition of fine printing. Twenty-four
books were chosen out of 74 submitted, and reflect changes in fine book
printing. Computer design has largely replaced higher cost traditional
printing processes, and submissions come from commercial publishers as
well as younger generation presses. They reflect the basic tenets of
fine book design: choice of type, spacing, margins and paper. The winners of this 1998 Western Books are: |
