Exhibitor responsibilities
PublicityThe written description of the exhibit will be used for the College Library Exhibits web site and for publication in UCLA Today, Daily Bruin, Library Newsletter, Library News for the Faculty, and UCLA Librarian. Lead time of less than two months will exclude some publications. Under some circumstances, production of printed signs and materials will be provided by College Library, through Library Communications. Exhibitors should consult with the College Library Events and Exhibits Committee chair for more information. Installation & DismantlingExhibitor responsibilities (in consultation with the College Library Events and Exhibits Committee chair):
Insurance & Art WorkIn instances when exhibit materials are on loan to UCLA, the exhibitor coordinates with the College Library Events and Exhibits Committee and makes arrangements for insurance coverage. For some materials, such as art work which is not displayed in the locked exhibit cases, a signed release form may be required. ReceptionsReceptions are not normally held in
conjunction with exhibits. In exceptional cases, exhibitor must make
arrangements well in advance, working with the College Library Events
