| America the Bountiful: Classic American Food from Antiquity to the Space Age June 30 - September 17, 1999 |

| A traveling exhibit from the University of California,
Davis chronicles through paintings, lithographs, photographs and
artifacts, the development of American food selection and preparation
covering ten time periods in U.S. history. Curated by UC Davis nutritional geographer Louis Grivetti, the focus is on actual stories of men and women of each historical era as they describe their food and what they ate. |
