Artist Statement
"I'm Every Woman" is a series of eight conte crayon and colored pencil drawings, each depicting a majestic woman marshalling the power of distinct intimate emotions. The subject matter portrays a woman's ability to merge with the inner self, resonate with its power, and surface transformed. The poses are dynamic, soulful, imposing and inviting.

The students of the African American Art History CM112D course at UCLA, under the supervision of Professor Paul Von Blum curated this exhibit. We invite you to meet the artist on Friday, June 5th from 5pm until 6pm.
