Sarah Lowry Installation Sarah Lowry's art installation of a white picket fence surrounded the UCLA seal in the library entrance this week. Sarah's said that it represents the irony of conformity within a system which stresses individuality.

"The UC stresses individuality when you apply. And once you're in, everyone gets stuck in the system which stresses conformity and competition. But some individuals do manage to retain their individuality."

The installation can be seen from Wed, Nov 11 until Fri, Nov 13. 11/12/98
