Vivaldi's Celebrated "Four Seasons" and Other Works

After last season's great success, Professors Movses Pogossian and Guillaume Sutre return along with students from the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music to perform this popular work along with other compositions, within the wonderful acoustics of the Powell Library Building Rotunda. They will be joined by fellow Strings faculty Antonio Lysy and Richard O'Neill.

UCLA Early Music Ensemble

The UCLA Early Music Ensemble will perform Renaissance and Baroque music for the Eucharist as well as some more profane celebrations of embodiment by Francisco Guerrero, Juan Bautista Comes, Juan de Araujo, Luzzasco Luzzaschi, Luca Marenzio, and an assortment of California Mission composers.
The ensemble is under the direction of Visiting Regent's Lecturer and distinguished Venezuelan singer and music director Isabel Palacios.

Seventh Annual Romeo and Juliet Italian Renaissance Ball
